The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, on Wednesday, said it has arrested a former Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, Professor Dibu Ojerinde, for allegedly misappropriating the sum of N900million. A statement that was signed by the Spokesperson for the ICPC, Mrs. Azuka C. Ogugua, disclosed that Prof. Ojerinde was arrested by operatives of the Commission on Monday, March 15.

The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) has ordered bank employees to declare their assets in line with the bank employee declaration of assets act. The act requires every bank employee within the first two weeks of taking the banking job to declare their assets. The EFCC has directed that the ordered must be complied with on or before 1st June 2021. The EFCC boss, Abdulrasheed Bawa, gave the order yesterday while speaking to newsmen after meeting with President Buhari.

Gunmen on Friday attacked the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation in Mando, Kaduna state, and kidnapped dozens of students. The attack occurred in the early hours, making it the fourth mass abduction since December. The Kaduna State Security Commissioner, Samuel Aruwan confirmed the attack, saying the total figure of students kidnapped is yet to be verified. Residents said they were not alarmed on hearing sporadic gunshots, thinking it was coming from the Nigeria Defence Academy near the school.
