The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has on Wednesday arraigned Mrs Aisha Wakil, popularly known as 'Mama Boko Haram' before a High Court in Maiduguri for alleged financial fraud to the sum of N66 million.

On Thursday, 5th December 2019, Federal High Court sitting in Lagos convicted the former Governor of Abia State, Orji UzorKalu, who was charged with N7.1bn fraud by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Sylvia Egwunwoke, Commander, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Niger Command has announced that the command arrested one suspect with 1,072 kg of substances suspected to be marijuana on Saturday in Mokwa Local Government Area of the state, NAN reports.

About 50 suspected members of the gang group called “1 million boys” have been arrested. The suspects were arrested during a raid of criminal hideouts in Lagos by the Special Strike Force set up at the instance of the State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) said that use of Google map while driving is not an offence contrary to a widespread allegation credited to the FRSC that it was an offence. Meanwhile, it remains dangerous to lunch the application while driving the statement added.
