Listeriosis Outbreak: WHO Supports Nigeria, 15 Countries On Protection
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has reached out to Nigeria and 15 other African nations to provide support for preparedness and response to a listeriosis outbreak that started in South Africa in 2017 but is now threatening other African countries. To further contain the spread of the deadly listeriosis disease that has killed at least 100 persons in South Africa, the World Health Organisation (WHO) has advised Nigeria and other African countries to be proactive.
