Nigeria-born Everton forward Ademola Lookman has been included in matchday six of the UEFA Europa League Team of the Week.

Lookman’s inclusion was as a result of his impressive performance for Everton in their 3-0 away win Apollon Limassol on Thursday where he scored a brace to help Everton secure their first and only win in Group E.

Red hot Bologna forward Orji Okonkwo could be in line for a first time call up according to the head scout of the Super Eagles Victor Agali.

Okonkwo has scored three goals in the Serie A from seven substitute appearance for Bologna, and Agali confirmed he is no doubt in the picture of the Super Eagles ahead of the World Cup in Russia.

 Nigeria’s Super Eagles are set to play England in a World Cup warm-up game in June, the general secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Mohammed Sanusi has said. “We plan to play a friendly against England in June, before the World Cup,” he said, adding that the venue and other details of the match were still to be worked out.
