King Charles III is set to carry on with his international travel plans next year, despite a recent cancer diagnosis. A Buckingham Palace official confirmed this news following the conclusion of the King's successful tour of Australia and Samoa.
“We’re now working on a full overseas tour program for next year, which is encouraging for us,” the official stated. Charles paused his cancer treatment to undertake the tour, and doctors have expressed optimism about his recovery.
The 11-day visit included over 30 engagements across major cities, marking Charles's first trip to Australia as king. The tour has reportedly lifted his spirits, with the official noting, “He genuinely thrived on the program.”
