The Nigerian Embassy in Germany has sacked a security Guard, Martins Oni who was alleged of demanding sex from a woman in a controversial video some times last month. In November last month, footage on social media went viral showing Oni in one Hotel room dressed half-naked and involved in a hot argument with yet to be identified person accusing him of demanding sex from a female who seeks to renew her passport.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed has insisted that the use of social media must be subjected to scrutiny, saying “reckless use” shall not be allowed.
The minister made this statement today in Lagos during a meeting with title editors of newspapers.

Former Chairman of Pension Reform Task Team (PRTT) Abdulrasheed Abdullahi Maina, has arrived in Nigeria, after his extradition from the Niger Republic. Maina, who was declared wanted by a court of competent jurisdiction, was arrested on 30th November, this year through the collaborative efforts of the operatives of the Nigeria Police Force, INTERPOL NCB, Abuja, and their Nigerien counterpart.
