Lawyers and judiciary workers in Imo suspended court sitting yesterday to protest against the kidnap of a lawyer Barr. Chima Awurum. He was kidnapped by gunmen last Friday in Mbano/Etiti, Imo.

Gunmen suspected to be herdsmen attacked the convoy of Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom on his way to Makurdi in the early hours of Saturday 20th of March 2020. The Benue State Governor was reported to be on his way to Makurdi when the gunmen opened fire on his convoy but were repelled by his security men.
