Following an earlier report that essential workers on Tuesday were restricted from moving within Lagos at the beginning of the 8 pm curfew imposed by FG to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has voided an order restricting the movement of essential workers during the COVID-19 lockdown. The officers claimed they were enforcing an order, which directed that health workers and media personnel were not allowed to move beyond 8 pm.

Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. YemiOsinbajo in a commendable move has declared a huge cut down on registration cost for products with the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC). The VP announced that the 80% slash is for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and that will last for up to six months. He also mentioned that the registration has been simplified as interested parties can register via NAFDAC e-Registration platform from the comfort of their homes.
