Residents of Abule Ado, FESTAC, Ojo areas in Lagos State are grieving over an explosion that rocked the area on Sunday morning with scores of houses and valuable properties destroyed. Officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA) have confirmed the development.

The convoy of Vice President Osinbajo was involved in an accident en route to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, on Friday. One of the VP's escort riders, Inspector Ali Gomina, lost his life in the crash. Due to the death of the rider, Osinbajo cancelled the suppose flight from Abuja to Lagos and returned to mourn his security aide.

The Presidency has described the alleged attack on President Muhammadu Buhari in Argungu, Kebbi State on Thursday as false and misleading. The Senior Special Assistant to the President on media, Mr Femi Adesina made a statement late Thursday night saying that the young man breached protocol and attempted to greet the President at close range but was prevented by security operatives.
