COVID-19: Lagos Announce Reopening Of Worship Centres, August 7 And 9
The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has announced that places of worship in the state will reopen from Friday, August 7. The governor confirmed this on Saturday, during a media briefing on COVID-19. While churches and mosques will be allowed to reopen, nightclubs will remain shut. According to Sanwo-Olu religious leaders must make available hand sanitizers, thermometer guns for reading temperature, adding that the state government will ensure that social distancing is maintained.
