Bauchi state governor, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has tested positive for coronavirus.

The first Coronavirus death in Nigeria has been recorded at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada. This was announced by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) through their official twitter handle @NCDCgov on 23rd March 2020. 

Son of Nigeria's former Vice President and Presidential aspirant in the 2019 general elections, Atiku Abubakar has tested positive to Coronavirus. The former Vice President made this disclosure through his official verified Twitter handle on Sunday.

The National Association of Nigerian Prostitutes (NANP) has called on its members to henceforth suspend all activities on bed-to-wealth business against the menace of the current COVID-19 until is over.

The Director-General of National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) Mojisola Adeyeye has made the announcement that the Agency is not approving Chloroquine for the treatment of COVID-19 but for clinical trials to find treatment for the virus.
