Following the recent increase in the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19), the Federal Government has approved the release of N6.5 billion as emergency intervention fund.
This was announced in a statement by President Muhammdu Buhari's Personal assistant on new media, Bashir Ahmad saying the fund will be for the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
Speaking on the matter, the Federal Minister of Finance, Mrs Zainab Ahmad said the fund is to aid in curbing the further spread of the disease in the country.
