Dana Air Temporarily Extricates Workers Amid NCAA's Audit

Dana Air on 11th May 2024, in a statement through its Head of Corporate Communications, Mr. Kingsley Ezenwa, revealed the temporal extrication of some of its workers amid an ongoing operational audit by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority. President Tinubu Confers GCON Title on Awujale Of Ijebu Land

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has today conferred the second highest national honour of Grand Commander of Order of Niger (GCON) on the Awujale, a paramount traditional ruler of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, for his immense and invaluable contributions towards national development. The traditional father received the title at the 90th birthday ceremony celebrated at the Oba Sikiru Adetona School of Governance, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun state.

Police Take Over Rivers House Of Assembly Quarters

About 30 armed policemen have taken over all the entrances to the House of Assembly quarters located along the Aba Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers state. The first and second gates to the lawmakers’ estate is currently been safeguarded by the police with about 30 patrol vans used to block the entrances.

Navy Intercepts Fleeing Vessel From Gabon

The Nigerian Navy (NN) has intercepted a vessel that allegedly fled from Gabon without proper documentation. The vessel, MV BLU-SHARK , was intercepted in Calabar on May 6 at about 11:52hours by the navy’s NNS OSE, a statement by the Navy’s Director of Information, Commodore Aiwuyor Adams-Aliu, said on Friday in Abuja.
