The Defence Headquarters has received 20 Armoured Personnel Carriers (APC’s) as parts of the Federal Government’s efforts to fight insecurity in the country. The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Gen. Christopher Musa received the keys of the vehicles during a brief ceremony at the Ministry of Defence Abuja, on Wednesday.

$18.5bn Abuja Centenary City; Senate Constitute 7-Man Panel To Probe Project
The Senate has yesterday constituted a seven-man ad-hoc committee to probe into how the $18.5billion budgeted for Abuja Centenary Economic City project has not been able to complete the project after 10 years. The committee was also tasked to extend their investigation into reviewing the original public-private partnership agreement and recommending amendments, if necessary, to facilitate the smooth and expeditious completion of the project within a defined timeframe.
Tinubu Returns To Nigeria After 10 days of Absence
President Bola Tinubu has returned from his trip abroad after spending 10 days of speculations over his whereabouts by concern Nigerians. According to the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), the president returned to Nigeria, today Wednesday morning. In a news flash by the media House, the NTA said: “President Bola Tinubu returns to Abuja after his trips to the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia”.
