Italian Club Juventus FC has publicized the signing of the 22-year-old Nigerian Super Falcon midfielder, Jennifer Echegini for a two-and-a-half-year contract to play for the women's team from the Florida State Seminoles, a well-known American football club. The club in a statement on their website on Thursday, 4 January 2024, said Echegini signed a contract until 30 June 2026 and will wear the number 26 shirt. Echegini was born in the Netherlands and raised in England, arrived at Juventus from Florida State Seminoles, in the United States of America. She was among the finalists of the MAC Hermann, the most prestigious award in US university football.

MultiChoice in a statement on Wednesday announced that SuperSport Channel will not broadcast African Cup of Nations games (AFCON) as its cable branch, DSTV failed to secure the tournament’s braodcasting rights.
