Former Aston Villa star player, Gabby Agbonlahor, has chided Arsenal defender, Ben White describing the star player as being overrated.
Agbonlahor insisted that White should not form the squad for Arsenal in the next season suggesting that instead; the player should be replaced by, Willian Saliba, who has been loaned to Marseille in Gunner's next squad. According to Agbonlahor, White does not deserve the money Arsenal is spending on him describing it as a waste of resources when he was brought over from Brighton.

Nigerian striker, Suleiman Abdullahi has joined, IFK Gothenburg, A Swedish Club, for a three years deal. Abdullahi was formerly a striker at Bundesliga, Union Berlin for the 2021/2022 season before moving to the Swedish club. It seems the striker has a calling for the Scandinavian clubs, though he was once in the book of Norwegian club, Vikings Skavenger.

The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria have qualified for the U-17 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) scheduled to take place next year in Algeria, after defeating Cote d’Ivoire 3-1 in the first semi-final of the tournament. Cote d’Ivoire opened the scoring in the second minute after Yan Diomandi scored a goal from the penalty spot.

Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika has been named Best Young Player of the season in the Danish Superligaen. Onyedika had an amazing breakthrough season at FC Midtylland since after he took over from star man Frank Onyeka who moved to Brendford last summer. Onyedika beat players like FC Copenhagen’s Ísak Bergmann Jóhannesson, his teammate Gustav Isaksen, and Brondby’s Anis Slimane to clinch the award. The 21-year-old ensured that his compatriot was not missed at all, as he churned out brilliant performances consistently for the Wolves in the defensive midfield position.

Championship side Burnley has appointed former Manchester City captain, Vincent Kompany as their new manager after parting ways with long-serving boss Sean Dyche in April. The retired Belgium international, who was in charge at Anderlecht until last month will now take over from caretaker manager Mike Jackson.

Sierra Leone defender, Usman Kakay has dared that his team can beat Nigerian Super Eagle in Abuja stadium, come 2023 African Cup of Nation Qualifier. This followed the John Keister squad that is slated to kick against the Nigerian Super Eagle by next week at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja. The last time the two countries clashed, the Leone Stars worked hard to settle the March with Eagles that ended at 4-4 in November 2020 a match played at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.
