Chelsea Football Club is set to lure Paris Saint German midfielder Marco Verratti to Stamford Bridge in the summer for a whooping sum of £55million.
The club's boss Antonio Conte is positive that he needs a midfielder to strengthen his squad especially after winning the 2016/17 English Premier League title.
According to reports, the 2016/17 EPL champions have made a £55million offer to PSG for the Italian after Conte was snubbed by AS Roma's Radja Nainngolan, he is now going for Veratti.
The 24-year old player has told the Ligue 1 side he will like to stay with the club despite interest from the London club.
The midfielder just signed a new five-year deal with the French giants in January, 2017. Sources revealed that the French side are willing to sell the playmaker to the English giants if the price is right.
