Real Madrid star, Eden Hazard has taken a giant step towards his recovery from injury after completing his first training session with his Real Madrid teammates since picking up a knock against Paris Saint-Germain on November 26. According to Marca.com, Hazard is resuming after spending two months and three days without action due to injury. The Belgian was finally able to put his boots on and work at almost the same pace as the rest of the squad.

As reported by Real Madrid, Hazard completed the entire session and was seen working with the ball and playing in the various small-sided matches organised by Zinedine Zidane.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the squad, Mariano Diaz returned to training, while those who started in Wednesday night's 4-0 Copa del Rey victory away at Real Zaragoza had a recovery session.

As such, the only player who remains out for an extended period of time is Marco Asensio.
