Arsenal striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, has been banished by Arteta from first-team training.
He may continue to be in exile from the Gunners according to the coach's plan till the end of the year 2021, according to the Sportsmail report today. The striker’s future with the Arsenal team seems frosty after he was stripped of his captaincy by the coach, Mikel Arteta on Monday. The Gunners in an official statement today disclosed that as “latest disciplinary breach”.
The 32years old was deliberately grounded in the first-team training at the club's London HQ this week.
To console himself, the striker has been training alone, away from his squad.
Arteta has today Friday confirmed his decision that Aubameyang would not be considered for the weekend game at Leeds. This was a deliberate act that he will continue to be watching on the sidelines until he departs for the African Cup of Nations by end of the year.
Meanwhile, his actual date of release from the Gunners has not been decided yet.
But the Gabon striker is understandably anxious to leave for international duty as soon as possible.
