Manchester United last night, won its first ever Europa League Cup after beating Dutch giants, Ajax, 2-0 with goals from world’s most expensive player Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

The victory threw up a few records. Here are some of the most interesting:

1 - Jose Mourinho becomes the first manager to win both the European Cup/CL and UEFA Cup/Europa League more than once, having won both twice.

5 - Manchester United becomes the fifth team to win all three major European trophies: European Cup/UEFA Champions League, Cup Winners' Cup, UEFA Cup/UEFA Europa League. They now join Juventus, Ajax, Bayern Munich and Chelsea.

10 - In winning the final, Manchester United went 11 matches unbeaten in the Europa League (W8 D3), conceding just four goals in that time.

22yrs 282days– Ajax FC’s starting XI against Manchester United is the youngest ever in a major European final.
