Nigerian midfielder Mikel Agu, scored his second goal of the season as Turkish Super Lig side, Bursaspor, picked up another win in the league with a 4-0 win over Antalyaspor.

Agu opened scoring for ‎Bursaspor in the 37 minutes before goals from Aziz Behich, Jires Kembo-Ekoko and Pablo Martin Batalla helped them complete the rout against ten men Antalyaspor following the sending off of Maicon in the first half.

The goal was Agu’s second in his last three games after opening his season’s account in their 3-1 win over Osmanlispor two weeks ago, a feat which earned him a team of the week nomination.

His Nigerian teammate at the club William Troost-Ekong also had a solid game for Bursaspor as he was part of a back four that helped shut out Antalyaspor, despite the introduction of Africa soccer legend Samuel Eto’o late into the game.

The duo are expected to be in the squad of Nigeria for their upcoming World Cup 2018 dead rubber tie against Algeria, and later a friendly game against Argentina in Russia.
