Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr has denied reports that he has concluded plans to resign his appointment before the forthcoming crucial encounter with the Indomitable Lion of Cameroon. Rohr who denied the report during an interview with ESPN said “I have seen the reports and there is no truth to this.”
Reports had emerged yesterday that the German gaffer was considering resignation of his appointment following attempt by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) to interfere with his assignment.
He was reported to have perfected plans to submit his resignation to the NFF Chairman in Morocco during the Confederation of African Football (CAF) meetings.
