A former Kaduna state Senator, Shehu Sani has called on the federal Government to pull down a Chinese supermarket located in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, for allegedly barring Nigerians from accessing the facility for shopping. Over the week, there were alleging that the management of a Chinese supermarket along Airport road, Abuja situated at the China General Chamber of Commerce, directed security officers guarding the facility to deny any Nigerian an access to the facility.


The racist-like attempt has triggered wide condemnation from concerned Nigerians who are now calling on the federal government to Call the supermarket authorities to order that they should allow Nigerian access into the supermarket or it does not deserve to operate in the country. 

Reacting on his part, Shehu Sani, a former federal lawmaker throws his weight behind the call for the demolition of the facility in accordance with the laws of the Country. 

On his verifies X handle today Monday, Sani wondered why a supermarket in Nigeria would not be accessible to its citizens to do their shopping? 

Sani tweeted, “Any Supermarket in our Country that is not accessible to the Citizens of Our Country but to foreigners, should be forcibly opened or be pulled down in accordance with the laws of our Country”.
