Kylian Mbappé has announced he is leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season, The announcement brings Real Madrid closer to ending their years-long pursuit of the France international, who is widely regarded as one of the best players in world football. PSG face Toulouse at the Parcs des Princes on Sunday, which will be Mbappé's final home game. His final game for the club is scheduled to be the French Cup final against Lyon on May 15.

The Premier League has today confirmed the nominees for Manager of the Season award. Competing are, Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Pep Guardiola (Manchester City) as both Managers are in a fierce battle for the Premier League title. Meanwhile, Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola is also among the five nominees. Although, Liverpool’s title hopes may have given up in recent weeks, but Jurgen Klopp is included in the list. 

Kelechi Iheanacho has sparked off a hot chase by Premier League clubs after he refused to renew his contract with newly promoted Leicester City. According to popular sports publication, Football Insider, Iheanacho is now a target for Premier League clubs Aston Villa and Crystal Palace.

 Brentford, an English Premier League club, has signed Nigerian U20 defender Benjamin Fredrick to a four-year contract. Fredrick is a product of Simoiben Football Club, Moses Simon’s academy, in Kaduna State. 

British media has revealed that Liverpool football club has finalised an agreement with Feyenoord yesterday that Arne Slot shall succeed Jurgen Klopp as manager. According to the Press Association a severance package has been prepared for the 45-year-old, who by his contract had two more years left but has now accepted the deal. The BBC disclosed that the deal is worth up to £9.4 million (10.9 million euros). Slot had said Thursday that he was “confident” of landing the Anfield job.
