Nigerian born British boxer Anthony Joshua is seeking a rematch with Wladmir Klitschko, Sky Sports has reported. The duo had met earlier in April 2017. During the encounter, Joshua defeated Klitschko in the 11th round. In an interview, the reigning heavyweight champion said he has two options in the defense of his title.

The first option according to him is a rematch with Klitschko while the second one is a mandatory fight with Kubrat Pulev. Pulev's match would, however, be activated if Klitschko decides to hang his gloves.

“We can’t fight too many fights like that but regarding who I’m fighting, I’ve got two options. One is a rematch with Klitschko, and we’re waiting to see, and we’re trying to dangle a few carrots to make him bite and spark his interest again".
“The man has achieved great things throughout his career so it takes a lot for him to get motivated and interested again.”

The champion added that “When you have a belt, there’s a mandatory position you have to face and one of them is Kubrat Pulev, a very talented Bulgarian fighter.”
