The Super Eagles of Nigeria have defeated Angola to become the first team to book a place in the semi-final of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast. This win represents the first time the Super Eagles have secured four consecutive victories at a single edition of the Africa Cup of Nations without conceding a goal.

Looking ahead, the Eagles aim to continue their winning streak ahead of the clash with either Cape Verde or South Africa in the upcoming semi-final next week Wednesday.

The three-time champions started their campaign at the AFCON 2023 finals with a 1-1 draw against the Nzalang Nacional of Equatorial Guinea.

The West Africans have remained unbeaten since then and also have the meanest defence in the competition.

Following the elimination of other strong contenders such as Senegal, Morocco, Algeria, Egypt, and Ghana, they are now the frontrunners to clinch the title.
