Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has disclosed the agency has recorded fresh 112 infections of the coronavirus across the county. The Health agency made this known today that the infections were reported in 14 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT making the total toll of the infection to 64,996.

The continued rise in the cases of Lassa fever across some states in Nigeria has started giving concern to the Federal Government. The Minister of Health for the state, Olorunnimbe Mamora, has expressed worry during a joint national briefing during the Presidential Task Force of the (PTF) on COVID-19.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has yesterday revealed the country has recorded a fresh 152 new infections and two deaths from the coronavirus pandemic. The Health agency disclosed this yesterday through its verified website.

Following the news on the successful production of the coronavirus vaccine by the Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company and its 90% success upon human trial, President Buhari has welcomed the arrival of the vaccine and called for an equitable distribution of the vaccine.

The Chinese government has temporarily suspended Nigerians and other nationals with a valid Chinese visa from entering China due to fear of the coronavirus second wave.
Other countries affected by the latest Chinese rule are; United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Belgium, the Philippines, and other countries.

The Presidential Task Force (PTF) on coronavirus has threatened to sanction international travelers who upon return failed to turn up for a mandatory Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test.
